Banners are one of the many tools companies have available to promote their product or service. Banners are often used temporarily to advertise an event, grand opening etc. but
they can be used for longer periods of time as well. While there is no practical size limit, as we can combine multiple large panels in to a single banner, most banners are 5' or less high by 30' or less wide. Any of these sizes
we can produce in a single piece of material. Common finishing options include metal grommets (usually every 2') and hemming (taped or sewn). We prefer to use a 13 oz. matte vinyl material for most
of our banners but we stock glossy vinyl as well. For special applications we also have fire retardent fabrics, polypropylene, canvas, Tivek, mesh and other materials.
Applications where you often see temporary vinyl banners: church events, sporting events, Charity fund raisers, grand openings, construction sites etc.
Whatever your purpose is, we have the products, knowledge and graphic design capabilities to help you reach the right audience.

Overpass Banners
In the city of Calgary you can hang large banners from a number of pedestrian overpasses throughout the city. These can be used to advertise events, shows or any other charity related activity.
There are a number of "Banner over roadway" rules and restrictions to consider when applying for a permit.
Rollup banners
Although banners are often mounted using ropes, screws, bungee cords etc. inserted through metal grommets along the edges of a vinyl banner, we also provide rollup banner displays that eliminate the need for grommets and
allow for easier setup and transportion, without the need for cords, screws etc. as they are completely free standing. The banner material used in these stands is usually of a higher grade to prevent curling at the edges and provide
a smoother appearance. These stands can be moved around or repositioned very easily and automatically protect the graphics during transportation.
Mesh Banners
For certain applications where wind pressure might be an issue or if you require a certain amount of light or visibility through the banner, we can provide you with mesh banners.
These are made from the same vinyl as our regular banners, and are printed in high resolution with the same types of inks, but are perforated to let wind, light and water to run through.
They are often used at construction sites to block visibility from the outside and act as a snow barrier while still allowing detailed graphics, text and images to be shown around the site.
Digitally Printed Banners
Traditionally, vinyl banners for indoor or outdoor use have been made by applying colored cut vinyl to a vinyl scrim banner material. While we still use that technique, more banners these days
are digitally printed using waterproof inks. This allows for many more choices of colour, detail, gradients, photographs etc.
